Ventura Impact x Situation Project: Driving Awareness for Arts & Education Access

September 2, 2025

At Ventura Growth, we believe in using our tools and talents to give back, and that’s exactly what Ventura Impact was built for. Through pro bono programmatic advertising services and financial support, Ventura Impact helps nonprofits and community-driven organizations amplify their missions and reach the people who need them most.Since 2022, Ventura has worked with Situation Interactive, the creative agency behind Broadway sensations like Aladdin and The Lion King. We’ve worked together across Accounts, Media Planning, and Media Buying teams, activating over 75 advertisers through The Trade Desk platform, even achieving a 51% increase in ROAS using Kokai.Through this relationship, we were introduced to Situation Project, Situation Interactive’s nonprofit arm, and our shared commitment to opening doors for underserved students made for a natural collaboration.

About Situation Project

Situation Project is dedicated to expanding access to extraordinary career, cultural, and community experiences for New York City’s most vulnerable students and their families. From backstage Broadway tours to workplace mentorship and advocacy training, they inspire students to envision and create a brighter future. Our first joint effort was a Career Discovery Day panel, where Ventura team members spoke with Brooklyn high school students about career paths, life lessons, and embracing uncertainty. That same spirit of mentorship and support carried into our most recent initiative together, the June Giving campaign.

June Giving Campaign: Closing the Education Funding Gap

During the summer months, education programs often face a funding dip, leaving a gap that can disrupt vital experiences for students. The June Giving campaign set out to change that, raising awareness and encouraging donations to keep programming alive during school breaks.Ventura Impact provided a pro bono media budget and a four-week programmatic strategy across Display and Online Video (OLV). The overall average CPA goal was $15.The results exceeded expectations, driving strong engagement and traffic to the Situation Project website. The campaign achieved an average CPA of $8.51, surpassing the goal by 43%, and generated a total of 1,175,169 impressions. The standout performance, especially in Display, highlighted the power of strong creative-audience alignment and efficient media delivery.Who We ReachedPerformance was strongest in urban, culturally engaged communities across New York State, especially in NYC boroughs and major upstate markets. Most Responsive Audiences:

  • Arts and culture advocates (especially Broadway enthusiasts)
  • Parents active in school fundraising

These segments aligned perfectly with the mission of the Situation Project, proving that value-driven audience targeting can drive both awareness and meaningful action.

Looking Ahead

The June Giving campaign was just one step in our partnership with Situation Project, but it reinforced what we already knew: targeted media + mission-driven messaging = impact. At Ventura Growth, we believe long-term change starts with showing up, listening, and using our expertise to help organizations thrive. We’re excited to continue supporting the Situation Project through Ventura Impact, from strategic ad campaigns to hands-on volunteer work.
